The Beginning

Sergio began his well servicing experience by working for a number of well servicing companies, including Capital, Pool, Big Red / Longhorn, Christian Well Service, and Sooner. These core roots allowed for Sergio to expand his knowledge base and experience in the industry by acquiring skills that would later help solidify Surge Well Service

Later on Sergio transitioned from the well servicing business to the chemical and pumping business, were he was able to expand his experience and salesmanship. From there the doors of opportunities began to open by working his way up from pump truck driver to salesman, which allowed many opportunities to network and thus began laying the foundation to his customer base.

By this time the dream had become a reality of starting ones own business, with a partnership in mind Sergio Ortega and Rey Najera began R&S Hydro-testing, which would be the foundation to both of their future successes.

R&S Well Service was established by this point in 2008, Sergio ventured off on his own starting his first well servicing company. With one rig in his fleet and Sergio’s grit the business began building itself.

In 2014 after some careful thought a decision was made to re-brand the business with its new and current name Surge Well Service, or simply known as Surge. This would allow the ever evolving services to be added to be under one umbrella name that could expand from there.
